Ê Connect the data cable (1) to the accessible drive (see the cabling plans in

the Appendix).

Ê Connect the power cable (2) to the accessible drive (see the cabling plans

in the Appendix).

Ê If necessary, connect the data cable to the system board or to a RAID

controller (see the cabling plans in the Appendix).

Ê Attach the front cover or rack front cover as described in the section

"Attaching the front cover" on page 80 or in the section "Attaching the rack

front cover" on page 82.

Ê Close the server, connect it to the power outlet, and switch it on as described

in the chapter "Completion" on page 79.
